Two pages of pics covering the Gregory Bald part of the trip are up.  You can find those here.  Still going through the rest.  Not taking as long as I thought.  Turns out there’s a LOT of BAD pics.  Seems we’re having quite a time figuring out the new camera and we ended up with a bunch of junk.  Loonie is majorly frustrated and about to pull her hair out over it!  Just gonna take some time and practice.  Lots and lots of practice.  And it means we’ll have to go back.  What a shame.

Flame Azaleas – Gregory Bald

Still fixing a bunch of stuff on the site.  I’m not very good at this sort of stuff and it shows.  I never figured it would be this much freakin’ work.  Just throw some pics out there, type up a few sentences and BAM!  You’ve got a website.  Wrong. I still have a ton of work to do in the “Gear” section. I need to put up pics of the Cuben Fiber pack and Pertex down quilt…coming soon…maybe. Since Loonie wants a Cuben pack and down quilt for herself I may just hold off until I go to make those and then throw everything out there at once. And crap, I still have the Cuben Fiber one-pole mid shelter I need to make before Deep Woods and I head back to the AT next spring! (Deep Woods is going to be so freakin’ jealous when he sees what I come up with. He’s such a chump). AND I have to figure something out to replace the boat anchor external frame pack for when I have to carry more than 20-25 lbs. Ahhhh….so much cool, uber-lightweight gear to make and not enough time or $$$.
